1  What is chemiluminescence immunoassay?

Chemiluminescence immunoassay is an immunoassay instrument that directly labels antigen or antibody with chemiluminescent agent. Chemiluminescent immunoassay analyzer contains two parts, i.e. immuno-reaction system and chemiluminescent analysis system.

2  Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer  principle

Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer uses chemiluminescent substances catalyzed by a catalyst and oxidant oxidation, the formation of an excited state intermediate.

When this excited state intermediate back to the stable ground state, while emitting photons (hM), the use of luminescence signal measurement instrument to measure the amount of light quantum yield.

The immunoreactive system is the direct labeling of luminescent substances (excited intermediates generated under reactant excitation) on antigens (chemiluminescent immunoassay) or antibodies (immunochemiluminescent analysis), or enzymes acting on luminescent substrates.

The core detector component in chemiluminescent immunoassay instruments is the photomultiplier tube (PMT), which is detected by a single photon and transmitted to an amplifier, and amplified by a high voltage current. The amplifier then converts the analog current into a digital current, which transmits the luminescence signal to a computer by an R232 data line and calculates it to produce clinical results.

Chemiluminescence immunoassay is an immunoassay method that uses chemiluminescent agents to directly label antigens or antibodies. Commonly used in the labeling of chemiluminescent substances are acridinium ester (AE). It is a very effective luminescent marker, its luminescence by the action of the initiating luminescent reagent, strong direct luminescence in one second, for rapid scintillation.
